Today Aparavi announced that it has forged a new category in data management in the release of The Aparavi Platform. The Aparavi Platform is exclusively available on the Microsoft Azure marketplace through a partnership of the two companies, including a joint go-to-market initiative with Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers. The newly announced platform is said to address use cases of finding and controlling data, optimizing data availability for cost savings, and fueling innovation.
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Santa Monica, California, Aparavi is all about data intelligence and automation. Their flagship product is the Aparavi Platform. The platform is said to move beyond data management to data intelligence and automation and all of the benefits that includes such as reducing complexity and costs. As compliance and privacy take a front seat, especially in regions like Europe, the platform helps by enabling data discovery with automated classification, data optimization (including removal), and easy migration to alternative data stores such as on-premises storage or major clouds. The visibility into data not only gives users insights, but it triggers action based on its lifecycle, access requirement, content, risk level, regulatory policy, amongst other criteria.
A few months back, Aparavi introduce its Early Access Program. Now, the Aparavi Platform SaaS version is available on Microsoft Azure marketplace. For pricing, the Platform starts at $1,788/month for 50TB of data or 50 million files under management. Users can also choose the starter release for 5TB or five million files with one classification policy for free on Azure marketplace.
