TYAN has announced support for 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with their full line of HPC, cloud computing and storage server platforms for enterprises, cloud and hyperscale data centers.

Among those that benefit from this new support is TYAN’s Thunder HX product line, which leverages Intel's Deep Learning Boost technology to promote faster machine learning application deployment. This family of high-performance computing and AI-optimized platforms also support a range GPUs for effective computing power during resource intensive workloads, including visualization, simulation, data analytics, inference, and deep learning use cases.

TYAN’s Thunder SX/CX is another product line that benefits from the new 2nd gen Xeon processor generation support. The Thunder SX/CX integrates Intel Optane DC persistent memory technology, which allows TYAN storage and cloud computing platforms (such as 4U 100-bay high-capacity cold storage, 2U hybrid object storage, 1U high-performance all-flash storage, and 2U multi-node hyper-converged server platforms) to offer organizations a variety of tiered storage implementation scenarios for data centers and enterprises.
