According to Virtual Instruments, this update makes the Load DynamiX product suite to offer the first and only storage performance validation and analytics solution that support 40GbE and 32Gb FC workload generation within the same appliance.

With the recent merger of Virtual Instruments and Load DynamiX, the new company is the industry’s only that offers end-to-end infrastructure performance analytics product portfolio complete with integrated workload analysis, modeling and extreme load generation. The new 40GbE and 32Gb FC support will network and storage vendors access to massive load-generation capabilities, which in turn can provide an accelerated time to market for higher-performance systems and enhanced customer adoption.

Features include:

  • A customizable interface for simplified modeling, workload generation, analysis and collaboration
  • Broad protocol coverage that provides rich, accurate emulations of workloads across file, block and object storage
  • Up to eight ports of either 32Gb FC or 40GbE per 2U appliance to test even the largest flash storage systems.

Availability

The Load DynamiX appliances with 40GbE and 32Gb FC support can be ordered immediately and will be available in August 2016.
