VMware Inc. announced its intent to acquire True Visibility Suite Business Unit of Blue Medora. This addition will provide integration solutions for VMware’s vRealize Operations platform and further VMware’s self-driving operations capabilities.

VMware keeps amazing us with fresh acquisitions, just yesterday they announced its intent to acquire Datrium to expand VMware’s Site Recovery disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS). With this new and eventual acquisition, VMware will focus on its vRealize Operations platform and advance its self-driving operations management. vRealize Operations helps IT run production operations hands-off and hassle-free with a unified operations platform. This well-known VMware product is powered by AI and predictive analytics.

VMware has been both a partner of Blue Medora and a reseller of its products for years. With the help of this partnership, VMware vRealize Operations has extended its reach to a growing number of applications, middleware software, clouds and hardware servers, storage devices, and more. VMware expects its customers to benefit from the addition of the True Visibility Suite team and products. This integration will lead to more abundant capabilities to further optimize VMware’s self-driving operations strategy. Customers can also expect broader and enhanced self-driving operations management across their hybrid cloud environments.

The True Visibility Suite technology will enable vRealize Operations to provide:

  • Visibility and insight into customers’ broad data center and hybrid cloud environments via dashboards
  • Dynamic discovery of customers applications and infrastructure
  • Metrics data that is mapped, analyzed, and helps drives automation via a single, integrated view of customer environments
