Easy to deploy and manage has been for long VMware vRealize Operations characteristics. However, this on-prem service still involves additional planning and ongoing administration of the cluster infrastructure, sizing, capacity, and health and availability. With vRealize Operations Cloud, organizations will be up and running quickly without the concern of provisioning or handling ongoing maintenance of the cluster.

From infrastructure to applications, vRealize Operations Cloud aims to deliver self-driving operations across a hybrid or multi-cloud environment. vRealize Operations Cloud service intends to solve both industry and technical hurdles to optimize, plan, and scale cloud environments with capabilities equivalent to the on-premises version of vRealize Operations.

Capabilities of VMware’ new service include:

  • Continuous performance optimization to reduce downtime
  • Efficient capacity and cost management to lower costs
  • Intelligent remediation to speed time to value
  • Integrated SDDC compliance to mitigate risk
