EMC Offers $1 Million XtremIO Flash Guarantee To Customers

EMC has announced “The XtremIO $1Million Guarantee” for EMC XtremIO all-flash array customers, offering one million dollars to the first customer that can show their XtremIO system’s inline data services have switched off, been throttled back, or defaulted to a “system garbage collection” state.

EMC has announced “The XtremIO $1Million Guarantee” for EMC XtremIO all-flash array customers, offering one million dollars to the first customer that can show their XtremIO system’s inline data services have switched off, been throttled back, or defaulted to a “system garbage collection” state.

EMC indicates that XtremIO all-flash arrays deliver the industry’s most consistent and predictable performance, claiming that it never throttles back deduplication, never post-processes deduplication, and never switches off deduplication. Additionally, XtremIO arrays do not rely on performance sapping system-level flash garbage collection. With these assertions, EMC is backing up their confidence with $1 million, paying out the hefty sum to the first XtremIO customer whose deduplication shuts off or who experiences system level garbage collection.

EMC’s XtremIO $1Million Guarantee starts now and runs until September 30, 2014. For further details, visit here.
