HP has updated its commercial desktop line, including the Elite, EliteOne, Pro, and Chromebox models, with Intel’s latest processors. Most of these models will all carry the G9 suffix and will be available later in May or July.
Most of the changes appear to be internal, going from 12th-generation Intel “Alder Lake” processors to the 13th-generation “Raptor Lake“. However, HP said that the 12th gen chips will remain available on the G9 machines.
With the need for remote work, HP calls out its all-in-one EliteOne 840 and 870 G9, which it says are the world’s most powerful 23.8″ and 27” all-in-ones. These models feature HP Presence, with multiple cameras and support for two video streams. It also features HP Keystone Correction to ensure easy sharing of whiteboards and paper.
HP is also announcing the Chromebox Enterprise G4 with up to an Intel Core i7, scalable SSD storage and memory, and support for three 4K displays.
Pricing and availability are as follows. All models will be available at hp.com later this month or in July.
