Huawei Releases New And Updated Versions Of FusionCube

Today at VMworld 2015, Huawei Technologies announced that it was releasing new and updated versions of it hyper-converged infrastructure series for cloud and virtualization, FusionCube. This announcement includes a new entry-level platform, the FusionCube 6000 and an updated version of its high-performing FusionCube 9000.


Today at VMworld 2015, Huawei Technologies announced that it was releasing new and updated versions of it hyper-converged infrastructure series for cloud and virtualization, FusionCube. This announcement includes a new entry-level platform, the FusionCube 6000 and an updated version of its high-performing FusionCube 9000.

Huawei’s FusionCube hyperconverged platforms serve as unified platforms to run both cloud/virtualization operating systems and business critical applications. These business critical applications include Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and SAP Hana, this feature is unique to FusionCube. FusionCube supports both VMware ESXi and its own OS, FusionSphere. Aside from FusionSphere, FusionCube can run other virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and OpenStack.

The FusionCube 6000 is aimed at smaller customers that need to build and manage small cloud and virtualization environments with the ability to quickly scale as their needs grow. The Fusion 9000 is for larger customers that need high-perfromance and high scalability.

Huawei will be showcasing its new FusionCube platforms at booth #535 at VMworld.
