Lenovo has just launched the ThinkStation P330 Tower series, a new line of entry-level workstations that focus on optimal performance and feature a compact design. Available in tower, small form factor (SFF), and “Tiny” models, this new family is highlighted by an 8th Gen Intel Xeon E and Core processors, high-end professional graphics cards like the NVIDIA Quadro P620 GPU (as well as dual graphics support), and M.2 NVMe storage directly on the motherboard.
Lenovo has completely redesigned the ThinkStation P330 Tower and SFF, shrinking the size of the workstation by up to 30% compared to previous models. Lenovo states that despite its small form factor, the new workstation still boasts outstanding performance. Moreover, designers, engineers and other pro-users will benefit from the Tiny version, which is equipped with a range of accessories and mounting options for a ton of versatility. With support for the Intel Xeon E processor and 8th Generation Intel Core processors, Lenovo claims a (up to) 44% increase in performance due to support for up to six cores per CPU and an impressive clock speed of up to 4.7 GHz.
In the GPU department, the ThinkStation P330 Tower and SFF can be outfitted with some fairly powerful hardware from NVIDIA, though more economical options are available so it can fit into a range of different project budgets. In addition, the ThinkStation P330 Tower and SFF workstations can be equipped with up to 64GB DDR4 memory and multiple storage bays, which support M.2 NVMe directly on the motherboard as well as Flex module support for easy customization. The Tiny features up to 2TB of M.2 NVMe SSD storage, a NVIDIA Quadro P620 GPU, and supports up to six independent displays.
