NVIDIA RTX A2000 and RTX A4500 Now Available

NVIDIA has launched the NVIDIA RTX A2000 and NVIDIA RTX A4500 professional graphics cards. Featuring 12GB and 20GB of GDDR6, respectively, both GPUs are based on the company’s powerful Ampere architecture. The RTX A4500 is built for designers, engineers, and creators who work with complex models and datasets, while the A2000 is meant for professionals who design photorealistic concepts, run AI-augmented applications, or review VR environments.

Featuring 12GB and 20GB of GDDR6, respectively, both GPUs are based on the company’s powerful Ampere architecture. The RTX A4500 is built for designers, engineers, and creators who work with complex models and datasets, while the A2000 is meant for professionals who design photorealistic concepts, run AI-augmented applications, or review VR environments.

The biggest highlight of NVIDIA’s new professional GPUs is Ampere. This technology uses Samsung’s 8nm NVIDIA custom process with 28 billion transistors and features an improved streaming multiprocessor, second-generation Ray Tracing core, and third-generation Tensor Cores. This means improved AI inference and DLSS for a huge jump in performance in higher resolutions. We previously looked at the Ampere-based RTX A4000 and RTX A6000, two excellent cards that showed just how much power the new architecture brings to the table.

Nonetheless, both the RTX A2000 and NVIDIA RTX A4500 feature Second-Generation RT Cores. This means users can produce accurate renders much faster with hardware-accelerated motion blur, as well as double ray-tracing performance compared to last-gen models. The third-gen tensor core helps to improve AI-augmented application performance, which allows for advanced capabilities like AI denoising and DLSS.

The RTX A4500 features third-Generation NVIDIA NVLink, allowing it to scale memory and performance across multiple GPUs so it can perform well under larger datasets, models, and scenes. The A2000 also features a 6GB model for those looking to spend a little less and don’t need the extra memory for workloads.
