This jointly-engineered solution is specifically designed to meet the most demanding business continuity requirements while enabling new opportunities for data-driven organizations. The new partnership between Pure Storage and Cohesity was mainly due to their customer’s need for an integrated all-flash data protection solution that offers a quick and reliable back up and recovery solution at scale.

The new partnership between Pure Storage and Cohesity was mainly due to their customer’s need for an integrated all-flash data protection solution that offers a quick and reliable back up and recovery solution at scale.
Powered by Cohesity, Pure FlashRecover is an all-flash data backup and recovery solution highlighted by its ability to effectively and quickly restore data due to disasters or ransomware attacks. Enterprises will also find its flash-to-flash-to-cloud data protection and rapid, independent scaling of processing, throughput, and storage capacity useful as well. Moreover, it allows backup data to be reused for analytics and DevOps, so that multiple applications can leverage data stores on the high-performance, unified fast file and object Flash Blade platform.
Purse Storage indicated that the combination of Cohesity Data Protect software and the company’s unified fast file and object Flash Blade platform will allow the integrated solution to deliver the following:
Availability
Pure FlashRecover is currently being tested by joint customers and is slated for generally availability in the United States some time in Q4 CY2020. It will be released in other countries in the subsequent quarters.
