ScaleIO was one of the most exciting reviews we completed in 2016. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we instituted an Editor's Choice program on the site specifically because ScaleIO was such a standout. The blend of flexibility and performance was the highlight as tested in our lab, but ScaleIO has the ability to scale past 1,000 nodes without increasing complexity. In this podcast I talk with Boaz Palgi who was a founder of ScaleIO and runs the group today, nearly four years after EMC acquired them. Boaz discusses all the ways ScaleIO can be consumed, his vision for how data centers will look in the future, the impact of new hardware technologies on software defined solutions and we top it off with a little bit of a look forward at what to expect for ScaleIO later this year.
