Lenovo announces new AMD AI desktops: all-in-one, SFF, and tiny builds.
Lenovo has unveiled three new desktop PCs in its ThinkCentre Neo Gen 6 lineup, each powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 300 Series processors and featuring onboard NPUs that deliver up to 50 TOPS of performance. The models include the ThinkCentre Neo 55a Gen 6 all-in-one, the Neo 55s Gen 6 small-form-factor tower, and the ultra-compact Neo 55q Gen 6. Designed for small and medium-sized business environments, the new systems are positioned to bring AI-assisted computing to a broader range of workspaces.
Lenovo ThinkCentre Neo Gen 6 55a
The ThinkCentre Neo 55a Gen 6 combines desktop performance with an integrated 23.8-inch display, creating a single-unit workstation. It supports up to 32GB of DDR5 memory and 1TB of M.2 PCIe SSD storage, and it runs on AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors with integrated Radeon graphics. The full-HD display offers a 100Hz refresh rate and 99% sRGB color coverage, suitable for productivity and content review. Integrated features include a 5MP IR camera, dual microphones, and stereo speakers tuned by Harman with Dolby Audio.
It supports HDMI input and output, Gigabit Ethernet, USB-C, and multiple USB-A ports. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Security features include an integrated eShutter for the camera, firmware TPM, and support for Lenovo’s ThinkShield platform. The system ships in a dual-tone Luna Grey and Eclipse Black finish and weighs approximately 13.2 pounds.

Lenovo ThinkCentre Neo Gen 6 55s
The ThinkCentre Neo 55s Gen 6 offers a more traditional desktop experience in a small-form-factor chassis. It supports up to 64GB of DDR5 memory, dual M.2 SSDs, and optional 3.5″ HDD storage. Graphics options include discrete AMD Radeon RX 6400 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 cards, as well as integrated graphics from the AMD processor.
The system offers extensive I/O, including HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, serial and parallel ports, six USB-A ports, and a USB-C port. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are supported, alongside a Gigabit Ethernet port. It supports a power supply rated at up to 260W and features BIOS-level USB protection, TPM 2.0, a Kensington lock slot, and Lenovo’s ThinkShield software stack. The chassis is built from 85% post-consumer recycled ABS plastic and carries certifications including ENERGY STAR 9.0, EPEAT Gold, and TÜV Low Noise.

Lenovo ThinkCentre Neo Gen 6 55q
The smallest of the three, the ThinkCentre Neo 55q Gen 6, fits advanced compute features into a tiny 1.44-inch-high frame measuring just over 7 inches wide. It supports up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage and is also powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI 300 processors. Despite its size, it includes an integrated NPU, a Gigabit LAN port, and support for up to three 4K displays through HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4a.
An additional rear punch-out port supports further customization with optional VGA, DP, HDMI, LAN, or COM ports. Wireless support includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The system weighs 5.27 pounds and is certified for ENERGY STAR 9.0, EPEAT Gold, TCO 10, and other low-noise and low-halogen standards. Its outer bezel is made of 85% post-consumer recycled material, and the packaging is entirely plastic-free.

Lenovo ThinkCentre Neo 55 Gen 6 Pricing and Availability
The Lenovo ThinkCentre Neo 55a Gen 6 and 55s Gen 6 are now available, starting at $549 and $479, respectively. The Neo 55q Gen 6 will be available soon, starting at $499. All three models support Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC experience and include Lenovo Vantage for system management, ThinkShield for security, and Premier Support Plus for 24/7 technical service.
