Toshiba has added to their Canvio line of external hard drives with a new set of Mac-friendly drives. The Canvio for Mac line is available in 500GB, 1TB and 1.5TB capacities and comes with pre-loaded Mac-customized backup software.
Toshiba has added to their Canvio line of external hard drives with a new set of Mac-friendly drives. The Canvio for Mac line is available in 500GB, 1TB and 1.5TB capacities and comes with pre-loaded Mac-customized backup software.
Backups are handled with the NTI Shadow 5 software package, allowing for fully-customized backup and synchronization, including the backup of specific folders, certain file types, or a complete system backup and recovery of everything that is saved on the Mac.
The Canvio comes in two colors, grey and white, and features a 5400RPM hard drive with 8MB cache and USB 2.0 interface. Drives come with a three-year warranty.
Availability
Canvio for mac is available now in 500GB, 1TB and 1.5TB for a suggested retail of $119, $139 and $189 respectively.
