At CES 2016 OCZ Storage Solutions is showcasing its latest SSDs. These new drives include its new client drives, the NVM Express RevoDrive 400 series and the Trion 150 series, as well as its enterprise SSD drives, the Z-Drive 6000 U.2 series.
OCZ believes that some early-adopter enthusiasts are looking more to NVMe as opposed to sticking with the slower SATA storage. To meet these enthusiasts needs OCZ will be releasing its RevoDrive 400 series that is designed for performance. The RevoDrive 400 series is an M.2 form factor SSD that uses NVMe PCI Express Gen. 3 x4 interface. With capacity going up to 1TB the series can also hit up to 2.4GB/s of bandwidth.
As a follow up to its Trion 100 series unveiled at Computex, OCZ is announcing the Trion 150 series of SSDs. These new SSDs will feature 15nm Toshiba TLC NAND flash. The drive is expected to have improved sustained performance and enhanced file transfer rates. As one can see from the above photo it looks like the drive is claiming a read throughput of 90K IOPS and a write throughput of 64K IOPS as well as sequential read speeds of 550MB/s and sequential write speeds of 530MB/s.
OCZ will be at CES 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 6-9.
