DDN Expands Its AI & HPC Platforms
DDN announced new infrastructure and multicloud solutions including the next generation SFA platform and new data management features for EXAScalter EXA5 file solution. The new SFA platforms include SFA18KX, SFA7990X, SFA400NVX, and SFA200NX that are said to bring simplicity with appliance functionality and performance. The EXA5 now has a scalable S3 object interface to better support mulitclod productivity.
NetApp Partners With NVIDIA On HPC
NetApp announced a partnership with NVIDIA that combines itsAFA EF600with NVIDIA technology for two solutions. The first is the NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD, a turnkey solution for solving complex AI problems. The NetApp hardware gives users the performance they need to solve complex problems. NetApp also announced that NVIDIA’s new Magnum IO Software Suiteis available on the AFA EF600.
NVIDIA CUDA-X AI & HPC Stacks Are Available On Marvell ThunderX Platforms
In another partnership with NVIDIA, Marvell announced that NVIDIA GPU support on its ThunderX family of Arm-based server processors. Marvell has collaborated with NVIDIA to port its CUDA-X AI and HPC libraries, GPU-accelerated AI frameworks and software development tools to the ThunderX platform.
