The NS9 X5 also delivers 2.5 times more networking bandwidth compared to previous generations, along with improved fiber channel connectivity. These enhancements are particularly valuable for financial services organizations, allowing them to process more transactions per second and support high-volume, latency-sensitive workloads. In manufacturing, the increased capacity and bandwidth facilitate multi-plant integrations, delivering faster insights and more effective smart MES applications.
Seamless Scalability and Enhanced Security
A key advantage of the NS9 X5 is its ability to be clustered with the previous two generations of HPE Nonstop Compute solutions. This backward compatibility allows enterprises to expand their compute environments seamlessly, integrating new servers into existing multi-generation configurations without downtime. As a result, organizations can migrate and scale operations with confidence, maintaining continuous availability throughout the process.
Coinciding with the hardware launch, HPE has released an updated operating system that introduces new features, including support for multi-factor authentication (MFA). These enhancements help organizations meet stringent regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and SOC 2, further safeguarding sensitive data and critical business operations.
Trusted Platform for the World’s Most Demanding Industries
The HPE Nonstop Compute platform is purpose-built for industries where uninterrupted operations are non-negotiable. For example, a major car rental company depends on HPE Nonstop to manage 80,000 reservations daily. In the financial sector, six of the world’s top ten full-service global retail banks rely on HPE Nonstop to process retail card payments, ATM transactions, and core banking functions, underscoring the platform’s reputation for reliability and performance.
These solutions are supported by specialized HPE Services, delivered by expert Nonstop Compute engineers who assist customers in migrating and managing complex, mission-critical workloads. The NS5 X5 and NS9 X5 are available as standalone systems or through HPE GreenLake, offering a flexible as-a-service consumption model that aligns with modern IT procurement strategies.
