Caringo Enhances Swarm & SwarmNFS Increasing Performance

Today Caringo, Inc. announced enhancements to both its Swarm Scale-Out Hybrid Storage, now in version 9.5, and SwarmNFS. The 9.5 release of Swarm increases interoperability between it and SwarmNFS 2.0 that in turn improves overall performance. Caringo will be exhibiting the new capabilities of Swarm 9.5 and SwarmNFS 2.0 at the JB&A pre-NAB Technology event

Cisco Announces 2Q18 Earnings

Cisco Systems Inc. reported its second quarter earnings for its fiscal 2018 year for the period ended January 27, 2018. The company saw an improvement in revenue but also reported a net loss due to the new Tax Cuts and Jobs act. The company announced that it would be repatriating $67 billion in foreign profits

NetApp Announces Its 3Q18 Financial Results

NetApp reported its financial results for its third fiscal quarter year of 2018, ended on January 26,2018. The company saw a small bump in revenue and a large jump in its net loss. NetApp’s stock took a sharp drop this morning after the earnings report yesterday afternoon.
