VMware has announced the general availability of new cloud management offerings for its vRealize Suite 6. The new releases include: VMware vRealize Operations 6.0, VMware vRealize Business 6.0 Standard, VMware vRealize Business 8.2 Advanced and Enterprise, VMware vRealize Automation 6.2, VMware vRealize Log Insight 2.5, and a new solution for agile development and DevOps processes, VMware vRealize Code Stream 1.0. VMware also announced it will be listing developer content on the VMware Solution Exchange that is not part of the VMware Technology Alliance Program, partners and customers.

The new VMware vRealize Code Stream is designed to accelerate application releases by delivering frequent, reliable software releases while reducing operational risks. The new solution automates the entire process of software release while providing artifact tracking, and enforces governance across all release stages. The new solutions will allow rapid and reliable push outs of frequent releases.
As we mentioned previously, VMware vRealize Suite 6 is a combination of VMware's cloud automation, cloud operations, and cloud business management solutions in one offering, VMware vRealize Suite is a purpose-built management solution for heterogeneous data centers and hybrid clouds. The new releases that are generally available now include:
VMware vRealize Operations 6.0
- Features an open and extensible platform that provides comprehensive visibility across applications, network and storage devices in a single console.
- Intelligent operations – advanced analytics identifying complex issues from symptoms and making recommendations. Capacity planning that extends beyond VMware vSphere to include physical and application level metrics and capacity models that eliminate false alarms when they are committed to the analytic engine.
- Policy-based automation that has smart alerts with remedy actions and remediation actions that launch automated workflows so admins can resolve issue from single console.
- Unified management with expanded platform support for SDDC and Hybrid Cloud, a unified user interface that manages VMware vSphere and non-vSphere domains) including third-party management packs.

VMware vRealize Log Insight 2.5
- Role-based access control capabilities enabling customers to log stat based on organizational function
- Enhanced integration with vRealize Operations enables customer to combine and analyze both structured and unstructured data, improving overall IT performance while averting disruptions.
- Internationalization/localization for German, French, Simple Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.
- Real-time log management featuring machine learning, high-performance search, and the ability to troubleshoot across physical, virtual, and cloud environments
VMware also announced that they would list developer content on the VMware Solution Exchange. The exchange will have community content VMware vRealize Log Insight, VMware vRealize Operations and VMware vRealize Orchestrator. VMware and its partners will continue to release new content and management packs to aide in the automation of VMware and third-party products. And they are offering courses and hands-on labs.
