Seagate Technology has announced three new enterprise-class HDD families for data center and cloud applications that will cover a broad range of capacity-to-performance and price-per-GB points. The Seagate Enterprise Value HDD provides up to 3TB of storage with a low-power architecture; the Enterprise Capacity 3.5 HDD will be offered in 1, 2, 3, and 4TB capacities; and the Enterprise Performance 10K HDD offers Seagate’s highest enterprise performance and enhanced security features.

**Seagate Enterprise Value HDD**

The Seagate Enterprise Value HDD, also known as the Constellation CS, provides affordability for low workload, 24×7 replicated environments in a 3.5-inch, 7,200RPM SATA design. The Enterprise Value HDD features the lowest power consumption of Seagate’s new enterprise HDDs, drawing as much as 29 percent less power consumption than competitive high-capacity enterprise drives according to Seagate. Seagate Enterprise Value HDDs feature Seagate’s Instant Secure Erase as an option.
