SandForce SF-2200 Blue-Screen Firmware Bug Found, Fixed

OCZ announced that the latest SandForce firmware numbered 3.3.2 has fixed a rare firmware bug causing blue screening on some computers. This latest firmware version has been through weeks of testing before public release, which OCZ is offering as firmware version 2.15 using their internal numbering scheme.

Toshiba Releases New 300GB 2.5-inch 15,000RPM SAS Drive (MK3001GRRB/R)

Toshiba has announced their highest capacity 15,000RPM 2.5-inch enterprise hard drive, offered in capacities up to 300GB. This new model, dubbed the MK3001GRRB/R, features an SAS interface and drive-based encryption to reduce end-of-life costs when retiring old models without having to perform lengthly rewrites to wipe old data.
