Cisco announced its third quarter earnings. The company saw a sharp sell off of its stock in after hour trading after releasing earnings. While the earnings as a whole weren’t bad, the company predicted a lower than analysts estimate for next quarter’s revenue. The company also announced an additional 1,100 layoffs.

Today Cavium Inc. announced the release of new I/O adapters for both server and storage connectivity for Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) ProLiant and Apollo Gen9 servers. Today SonicWall made its first product enhancement announcement since becoming independent from Dell. SonicWall is announcing its SMA 1000 Series OS 12.0 that will provide policy enforced secure access to authorized remote and mobile users for all data types across any device. The company states that the new OS should bring even greater security to
