This partnership enables enterprises to leverage Infinidat’s InfiniBox® high-performance and cyber-resilient storage systems alongside Veeam’s Kasten v7.5 platform to enhance data protection for Kubernetes-based workloads. Gaurav Rishi, VP of Kasten Product and Partnerships at Veeam, emphasized the two platforms’ synergy. He highlighted Kubernetes’ evolution from a DevOps-centric development environment into a critical production platform for enterprise-grade applications. According to Rishi, this evolution underscores the necessity for advanced data protection solutions, making integrating Kasten v7.5 and InfiniBox storage particularly valuable for ensuring highly scalable and cyber-resilient enterprise environments. ![]() The joint offering from Infinidat and Veeam ensures a streamlined persistent storage solution with rapid backup and recovery capabilities designed explicitly for mission-critical stateful workloads. It also fully supports Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization. Leveraging the enhanced immutability features of Kasten v7.5, the solution further improves data security by utilizing InfiniSafe® immutable snapshots via Infinidat’s Container Storage Interface (CSI) driver. Additionally, the joint solution provides multi-protocol flexibility, supporting persistent volumes through block and file protocols, thus significantly simplifying usage and administration.
