Today Chenbro announced a new 1U rackmount server barebone, the Chenbro RB13804. This sever supports up to two 2nd gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. The Sever is aimed at mission-critical, storage-focused applications for mixed deployments (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) in Data Center and HPC Enterprise.

Today Chenbro announced a new 1U rackmount server barebone, the Chenbro RB13804. This sever supports up to two 2nd gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. The Sever is aimed at mission-critical, storage-focused applications for mixed deployments (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) in Data Center and HPC Enterprise.

The Chenbro RB13804 comes with tri-mode storage. The server’s backplane with interchangeable to enable universal drive bays that can switch between SAS, SATA and NVMe storage type. This is good for a few reasons. For one, users only need to buy one type of server regardless of their specific storage interface needs. Theoretically, one could also switch to higer performance storage if need be. The Chenbro RB13804 chassis is available with 4X 3.5-inch tri-mode storage bays, plus optional 2-bay 2.5-inch internal drive bays and 1X slim ODD bay for maximum configuration flexibility.

As with all things Chenbro, the RB13804 comes pre-tested to ensure compatibility and long-term reliability. This server, that is a 1U form factor, comes with Intel S2600WFTR Server Board and supports up to two 2nd gen Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs and up to 24 ECC UDIMM 2933MT/s slots. The server includes 800W CRPS 80Plus Platinum grade PSU, optimized cable routing, plus 6X easy-swap, 22.5K RPM cooling fans with airflow. For networking, the server has 2 10GbE ports.
