Crucial has announced the latest extension to their C300 RealSSD line – a 64GB model with $149.99 price tag. The SATA 6Gb/s drive offers 355Mb/s read and 70Mb/s write speeds. 

Joining the ranks of dubious SSD news today, Mushkin has announced their Callisto deluxe SSD family. If that sounds familiar, there’s a reason. Just 4 weeks ago, Mushkin released the Callisto SSD. That drive is now discontinued, with the new deluxe version taking its place.

Super Talent Technology has announced a new series of SAS SSDs dubbed ShuttleCraft. The ShuttleCraft S uses SLC flash and comes in capacities of 60GB and 120GB. The ShuttleCraft M will use MLC flash in 120GB and 240GB capacities.

Iomega has launched its latest line of portable hard drives, Skin. Each drive has 500GB of space with a series of unique designs applied via a "skin" on the exterior of the case. 

Western Digital has upped the capacity on their speedy line of notebook drives to 500GB from 320GB. The WD5000BEKT is a standard size 7200 RPM 2.5" hard drive with 16MB cache. 

Corsair today announced its popular password-protected Padlock 2 thumb drive is now available in a 16GB capacity. The Padlock 2 uses a PIN entered directly on the drive’s integrated keypad and has 256-bit AES encryption.

Toshiba has launched their highest-capacity embedded NAND flash modules to date – 128GB. The module is designed for use in consumer products including smartphones, tablet PCs, and digital video cameras.
