NewerTech has launched the MAXPower eSATA 6G PCIe 2.0 RAID Controller Card, which adds two SATA 6Gb/s ports along with port multiplier to allow up to ten drives (20TB) with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 and JBOD support. The card works with both PCs and Mac Pros.

The Hitachi-LG HyDrive optical disk drive/solid state disk (OD/SSD) combo is now official. The HyDrive fits into a notebook computer’s optical drive bay. It features 32GB or 64GB of NAND flash memory and an optical drive in one unit.
