Today Scality announced its turnkey, 24/7 monitoring solution for Scality RING object storage platform and its S3-focused products, Scality HALO Cloud Monitor. HALO can deliver transformative analytics of customers’ managed private cloud that helps both streamline business as well as provide continuous uptime. Scality is also announcing a new program, Scality’s Dedicated Care Service (DCS), that will the help of HALO, will guarantee 100% up time.

HALO can deliver transformative analytics of customers’ managed private cloud that helps both streamline business as well as provide continuous uptime. Scality is also announcing a new program, Scality’s Dedicated Care Service (DCS), that will the help of HALO, will guarantee 100% up time.

While the Cloud has been a major disruptor both in storage and in how many businesses are ran, one major drawback is that if something is wrong with companies’ Cloud environments, something is wrong with the business as a whole. The best way to keep the business humming along is to stop issues before they start. And the best way to do that is to constantly monitor the environment for problems. Scality HALO does just that.

HALO monitors cloud environments for any potential downtime risk while also providing predictive analytics to stop future risks before they start. HALO comes with comprehensive dashboards that provide intuitive, user-friendly visualizations of events with over 100 diagnostic metrics. Not only will customers be able to pinpoint issues, they will also be able to better plan capacity growth and view trends in their storage environments. When something happens, administrators will be notified through notifications and alarms.

HALO is the centerpiece of Scality’s new DCS program. DCS is a premium program customers can add onto their standard support contracts. Along with the 100% up time guarantee, the DCS also offers unconstrained access to dedicated customer service engineers, systematic audits of Scality RING and S3 environments, and priority escalations.

Availability

Scality HALO Cloud Monitor and the 100% availability guarantee are available to customers of Scality Dedicated Care Service. The standard entry-level version is included in Scality’s standard support package. HALO comes in both a free and premium level.
