Airrived Agentic OS wurde von Gartner als „Cool Vendor“ im Bereich Agentic AI Security ausgezeichnet, mit Air-Gapped-Bereitstellung

Airrived has been named a Cool Vendor in Gartner’s Coolest Vendor Innovations in Agentic AI Security report, published October 2. The Dublin, California firm sells what it calls an Agentic OS, a platform for building, orchestrating, and governing autonomous AI agents across cybersecurity, IT, and business operations. The pitch is that domain experts do the building, with no AI engineering team in the loop, and that the whole stack can run inside the customer’s own perimeter, down to fully air-gapped environments.

What Is in the Airrived Agentic OS Stack

Airrived describes the platform as a combination of deep reasoning, an Agentic Mesh, a Context Lake, multi-agent orchestration, governance, and end-to-end Agentic Observability, with a catalog of pre-built agents and applications meant to shorten the path from pilot to production. The company’s platform page adds a no-code agent builder, an Agentic App Store, and tooling for creating domain-specific language models. Airrived draws the contrast with copilots, which assist a single user, and with developer frameworks, which require a team to engineer agents from scratch. Its product sits between the two, automating multi-step work without a build team behind it.

“Today, building autonomous AI still demands specialized talent, fragmented tooling, complex integrations, and heavy governance overhead. Airrived changes that,” said Anurag Gurtu, co-founder and CEO of Airrived. “The future of enterprise AI isn’t giving every employee a copilot. It’s giving every employee the power to become an AI expert.” The company says the platform is in use across Fortune 150 enterprises, though it has not named them, and that it has been recognized in nine Gartner reports as a Tech Innovator in agentic AI.

Sovereign Deployment and Governance

The deployment story is the part most relevant to infrastructure teams. Airrived says the platform runs in public cloud, in customer VPCs, on-premises, on private GPU clusters, or fully air-gapped, with data, models, agents, context, and operational logs staying under customer control in each case. Governance tooling lets non-technical staff set the policies and guardrails that bound what an agent may do, which is the control regulated buyers typically ask about first when an agent is allowed to take actions on their behalf.

A Cool Vendor listing is a research note, and Gartner publishes them to flag companies worth a look, so the category matters more than the label. Agentic AI security is where autonomous agents meet the controls that decide what they can touch, and a vendor that can run the entire loop on-premises or air-gapped has an argument with regulated buyers that SaaS-only agent platforms cannot make. Gurtu’s own framing on LinkedIn was that security was the proof point for the platform and that the company intends to take it well beyond security from here.
