In addition to Veeam’s announcements concerning their Managed Backup Portal and Backup for Linux solutions, the company has unveiled a solid improvement in their Q3 2015 results compared to Q3 2014. This is highlighted by a 17 percent growth in quarterly revenue bookings, or an increase of 26 percent in constant currency; an 86 percent year-over-year revenue growth specifically for Veeam Availability Suite Enterprise Plus edition; a 49 percent revenue growth for all editions of Veeam Availability Suite; and a 23 percent year-over-year growth in orders specifically from enterprise customers.

Not only has Veeam’s growth been with the enterprise sales of Veeam Availability Suite, tremendous success has also been found with the cloud, such as with the Veeam Cloud Provider program, as it has reported an increase of 73 percent in the number of transactions year-over-year. In addition, more than 9,700 service and cloud providers were a part of the program worldwide. These figures include more than 980 service providers licensed to offer services for Veeam Cloud Connect. Veeam has indicated that this growth in service providers offering Veeam cloud services has led them to develop their Cloud & Service Provider (VCSP) program, which offers ready-made opportunities for service providers to acquire new customers and grow recurring revenue.

Additionally, Veeam has announced that it is expanding its leadership team with the appointment of Andy Vandeveld as Vice President of Global Alliances. Veeam believes that this will help their relationships with alliance partners including Cisco, EMC, HP, Microsoft, NetApp and VMware. In this new position, Vandeveld will oversee Veeam’s strategic partnerships with its alliance partner ecosystem to uncover new business opportunities that advance the delivery of Veeam’s Availability solutions. Vandeveld will also lead revenue acceleration within the wider Veeam partner base, which will focus on creating richer ties with Systems Integrators located around the globe.

Veeam has also revealed other quarterly financial performance, including:

  • 168,000 customers in 200 countries: Veeam added 11,300 total paid customers in Q3 2015. Veeam’s availability solutions now protect close to 10 million virtual machines worldwide.
  • Expansion to 34,500 ProPartners worldwide: Veeam’s commitment to the channel continues to attract new resellers and VARs to our solutions.
  • Employee growth: Veeam now employs 1,950 people worldwide.
