Western Digital My Passport Studio and My Passport for Mac Released

It’s not even Halloween yet, but the holiday shopping season has begun for manufacturers of computer peripherals. Western Digital is announcing today that it’s updated its Mac-centric "My Passport" line of portable hard drives. The line is divided into two models: the "My Passport Studio" and the "My Passport for Mac."

HP Storage Systems to Use Hitachi Ultrastar SSD400S Series SSDs

Hitachi’s Global Storage Technologies has announced that its Ultrastar SSD400S series SSDs will begin shipping in a number of HP storage systems aimed at the enterprise and cloud datacenter. Intel Shows Off Thunderbolt On New Windows PCs (IDF 2011)
