Toshiba has announced the world’s first 64GB SDXC flash memory card, also claiming the world’s fastest data transfer rate. Toshiba is also introducing 16/32GB SDHC cards with the same data transfer rate. 

Highpoint Technology today announced the industry’s first SATA 6 Gbps SATA RAID host adapter, the RocketRAID 620 series. The RocketRAID 620 has a PCI-e 2.0 interface and supports RAID 0/1/5/10 and JBOD. 

Kingston has announced that owners of secure USB drives that were affected by a security flaw are eligible for a replacement drive with an updated security suite. Aleratec has announced a low-cost hard drive duplicator, the 1:1 Hard Disk Drive Copy Cruiser Mini. In stand alone mode the system can duplicate either 2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA I/II drives creating perfect clones. The Cruiser Mini can also run in docking station mode over USB 2.0, creating an external storage device.
