Toshiba Launches THNSNF Series SSDs
Toshiba announced the THNSNF-series of SSDs, which feature new 19nm Toshiba Toggle MLC NAND. These new models are twice as fast as the previous HG3-series and available in three form-factors including the standard 9mm 2.5-inch design, as well as a 7mm-tall version for Ultrabooks and a mSATA model for integrated designs. The new THNSNF SSDs will offer read speeds up to 524MB/s, write speeds up to 461MB/s with incompressible data as well as random data transfers up to 80K IOPS read and 35K IOPS write.
