Mobile communication and collaboration technologies have transformed the ways that enterprises plan for security. Tablets, smartphones, and other personal devices are only a few of the new vectors for unsecure data sharing practices to disrupt enterprise storage environments. In acquiring GroupLogic, Acronis can expand its support for mobile and collaborative technologies in the enterprise while helping clients maintain security policies that protect sensitive material.

GroupLogic was founded in 1988 in Arlington, VA. GroupLogic’s employees will join Acronis, and GroupLogic CEO Chris Broderick will join the Acronis Executive Management team.
