Furthermore, the collaboration includes the introduction of Dell PowerEdge XE9680 servers, which are expected to support new NVIDIA GPU models, such as the NVIDIA B200 Tensor Core GPU. These enhancements aim to deliver a manifold increase in AI inference performance while also being cost-efficient. The partnership supports NVIDIA’s advanced networking platforms, further solidifying the infrastructure for cutting-edge AI workloads.

The Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA delivers a rack-scale, high-density, and potentially liquid-cooled architecture based on NVIDIA’s advanced superchips. The forthcoming Dell PowerEdge XE9680 servers will be equipped with the latest NVIDIA GPUs, promising significant performance enhancements for AI inference tasks and reduced ownership costs. These servers are anticipated to support a spectrum of NVIDIA GPUs and networking technologies.

Dell’s Generative AI Solutions with NVIDIA now include Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), providing a full-stack, pre-validated solution aimed at hastening enterprise AI adoption with RAG, which elevates the quality of GenAI models using proprietary data. Additionally, a full-stack solution for model training is being offered for custom model development.

Global availability has been announced for the Dell Data Lakehouse, a modern data platform facilitating data analysis across various environments. Moreover, Dell PowerScale has achieved a milestone as the first Ethernet storage solution validated with NVIDIA’s high-end AI systems, aiming to enhance AI storage efficiency.

Dell’s suite of professional services for GenAI has expanded, with NVIDIA’s expertise assisting customers in integrating and securing these solutions. Dell Implementation Services have been broadened to include new RAG solutions, model training, Data Lakehouse implementations, and GenAI Data Security Advisory Services to address potential security risks.

The offerings are available through traditional channels and Dell APEX, with Dell PowerEdge XE9680 server availability expected later in the year. The new RAG solution and model training services are already accessible, and additional professional and advisory services have been rolled out in select regions.
