The new Dell PowerEdge M620 blade server will be featuring the latest generation Mellanox interconnect solutions. The pair announced today that Dell customers can order the M620 with Mellanox FDR 56Gb/s InfiniBand switch blades and ConnectX-3 PCIe 3.0 FDR 56Gb/s InfiniBand and 10/40GbE mezzanine adapters.
The high-speed InfiniBand and 40/10 GbE solutions are crucial when it comes to handling varried workloads in an efficient, performance-driven manner. The new Mellanox integrated solutions give Dell customers the option to take full advantage of the latest in low latency interconnect technology which offer as much as twice the I/O throughput over older generation solutions.
Dell is offering the Mellanox solutions now in the PowerEdge M620 blade server.
