Electronic Products Magazine, a trade publication for electronic design engineers, has awarded Fujitsu’s MB86C30A USB 3.0-SATA Bridge IC its Product of the Year award. The MB86C30A supports USB 3.0 data transfer rates up to 5.0Gb/s.
The device has onboard AES encryption supporting 128-, 192- and 256-bit lengths; encryption and decryption are processed at 300MB/s. The Fujitsu MB86C30A was selected for the award on the basis of innovative design, significant advancement in technology or application, and substantial achievement in price and performance.
