Kingston has launched its DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 Generation 2 flash drive featuring a native USB 3.0 controller, the DTU30G2. The company claims up to 100MB/s read and 70MB/s write. The drive is backwards-compatible with USB 2.0. Kingston is offering the drive in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities.

The DTU30G2 is available now and backed by a five-year warranty. The 16GB drive is $77, the 32GB $116, and the 64GB $213.
