Kingston Releases DC450R SSD

Kingston Digital, Inc. announced the release of its newest high performance 6Gbps SATA SSD with 3D TLC NAND in the Data Center 450R (DC450R) Enterprise SSD. The new drive is designed for read-centric application workloads. For read intensive and read caching workloads, The DC450R is stated to deliver performance consistency through the use of Kingston’s strict QoS requirements.


Kingston Digital, Inc. announced the release of its newest high performance 6Gbps SATA SSD with 3D TLC NAND in the Data Center 450R (DC450R) Enterprise SSD. The new drive is designed for read-centric application workloads. For read intensive and read caching workloads, The DC450R is stated to deliver performance consistency through the use of Kingston’s strict QoS requirements.

Ideal use cases for the new Kingston DC450R are Content Delivery Networks (CDN), edge computing applications and a wide array of software-defined storage architectures. The SSD comes in capacities ranging from 480GB to 3.84TB and come with a limited five-year warranty. The DC450R also comes with ECC Protection to safeguard against data corruption.
