Lacie’s new 4big Rack Office supports secured RAID 1 and RAID 5 modes and automatic backups for up to 10 PCs and three Macs. The 4big Rack Office enables small businesses share up to 8TB of storage within the office and from the road using Windows’ remote access feature. It also includes 100GB of complimentary Wuala Secure Cloud Storage three months.
The 4big Rack Office is powered by Windows Home Server 2011 and features a 1.6GHz Intel 64-bit Atom processor and 2GB of RAM to ensure simultaneous data access and backups. For an additional level of data protection, the administrator can back up data to an offsite NAS. Administrators can also ensure that every computer in the office is backed up regularly with real-time, anywhere system monitoring and status console alerts.
