Lexar announced the largest A2 microSD card yet with the 512GB Lexar High-Performance 633x microSDXC UHS-I card. The card is ideal for high-end smartphones and mobile devices. Lexar will be demoing the card at PhotoPlus Expo held at Javits Convention Center in New York City, New York, from October 25th – 27th.


Lexar announced the largest A2 microSD card yet with the 512GB Lexar High-Performance 633x microSDXC UHS-I card. The card is ideal for high-end smartphones and mobile devices. Lexar will be demoing the card at PhotoPlus Expo held at Javits Convention Center in New York City, New York, from October 25th – 27th.

Applications are growing in complexity and capacity footprint, at the same time the cost of smart phones tend to be trending up, with the higher capacity models being more expensive. The new 633x microSDXC UHS-I card gives users an additional 512GB for storage of data and applications. The new card comes with quoted speeds of 2K IOPS minimum random write, 4K IOPS minimum random read, and transfer speeds as high as 100MB/s. Not only will users have the capacity for more advanced applications they’ll have fast performance as well.

Availability

The 512GB Lexar High-Performance 633x microSDXC UHS-I card is expected to be available in late October at MSRP of $299.99.
