The company also introduced the Lexar Professional 633x SDXC UHS-I card with 1TB of capacity. Lexar will be exhibiting at this year’s CES, Las Vegas, Nevada January 8th – 11th.

Lexar has released a new family of M.2 SSDs with various interfaces for the end users needs. For the mainstream users that want good performance but don’t need ultra high performance, Lexar introduced the NM200 line that leverages the SATA interface. Users can expect to see speeds as high as 550MB/s read and 510MB/s, which should meet most day-to-day needs including faster speed for boot ups, shut downs and every application in between.

The next step up the performance chain is the NM500 and NM520 series that leverage PCIe Gen 3×2 NVMe 1.2 technology. This interface can deliver speeds up to 1.65GB/s read, over twice what SATA is capable of. These entry-level NVMe SSDs use 3D NAND and are geared for gamers and multimedia users. The drive is offered in two different form factors, the M.2 2280 (NM500) and the M.2 2242 (NM520), and capacities up to 512GB for the NM500.

For the enthusiasts that are really looking for performance, Lexar is offering the NM600 series that leverages PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe 1.3 technology. Also built with 3D NAND, the NM600 series promises speeds up to 2100MB/s read and 1600MB/s write. The NM600 series also features LDPC error code correction technology making data transfers more reliable by fixing data errors before they have a chance to slow down. All of the above drives feature Lexar’s SSD Dash management software that monitor the drives’ performance, health, and condition.

High resolution video (4K and 3D) and images take up a lost a space on an SD card, and who wants to bring multiple cards that need to be changed out, especially in the field. Lexar has rolled out its new Professional 633x SDXC UHS-I card with a whopping 1TB of capacity. The card is made for mid-range DSLR, HD camcorder, or 3D cameras. The card is a class 10 that leverages UHS-I technology to deliver read speeds up to 95MB/s read and up to 70MB/s write.
