Ivanti Integrates Ivanti Neurons Platform With Splunk Security Operations Suite

Ivanti announced that its Ivanti Neurons Platform is now integrated with the Splunk Security Operations Suite. The combined solution is said to enable organizations to realize an autonomous edge, which offers hyper-automated self-healing, self-securing and self-service capabilities. This should help increase the security and management of endpoint devices in an age where companies are relying on them more and more.

Unisys Enhances CloudForte

Unisys announced enhancements to its integrated, multi-cloud and application optimization platform, CloudForte. Enhanced offerings include CloudForte Navigator(r) 2.0, CloudForte Cloud Management Platform 2.0 and CloudForte Accelerators 1.0. Benefits include:

  • Hybrid and multi-cloud management that features continuous assessments with remediation guidance on the best architecture and recommendations for migrating to the cloud and transforming applications
  • Infrastructure and application modernization guidance for updating legacy software to modern business needs
  • Review of Kubernetes security against best practices to ensure secure cloud deployment, management and auto-scaling
  • Automation and orchestration to allow faster customer innovation, including a unified user interface for management, governance, provisioning, and reporting on the client’s end-to-end hybrid and multi-cloud operations

Microchip Introduces New 8-Channel SSD Controller

Microchip announced its newest Flashtec controller with the Flashtec NVMe 3108 PCIe Gen 4 enterprise NVMe SSD controller. According to the company, this 8-channel Flashtec NVMe 3108 complements the 16-channel Flashtec NVMe 3016 and provides a full suite of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD solutions to support a comprehensive set of data center storage requirements. The new controllers can help drives achieve over one million IOPS for random workloads and over 6GB/s of sequential bandwidth.

Quantum announced that its ActiveScale S3-compatible object store software is now verified as a Veeam Ready Object Solution. Quantum has a long list of solutions that are Veeam Ready. By attaining Veeam Ready status, customers are assured that storage solutions are compatible with Veeam Backup & Replication features.

Actifio Supports New Oracle VMware Solution

Oracle releases its Oracle Cloud VMware Solution, a dedicated, cloud-native VMware-based environment that enables enterprises to easily move their production VMware workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Tagging on this, Actifio announced support for the new solution. Benefits include:

  • The ability to migrate Oracle, physical, and VMware workloads from on-premises or any cloud to Oracle Cloud VMware solution.
