 OWC has announced that it has expanded its OWC Mercury Elite Pro Mini line of portable drives to include eSATA 6G and bus-powered USB 3.0. The new Elite Pro mini is available in 13 different hard drive or OWC Mercury SSD-equipped capacity configurations up to 1.5TB, and features a compact build (5.5" x 3.8" x 1.1"), fanless design, and aircraft grade brushed aluminum enclosure.

The Elite Pro mini line offers users a choice of 2.5" SATA hard drives up to 7200RPM; or OWC’s Mercury SSDs for more serious A/V, digital photography, professional music, graphics and general data uses. The 6GB/s eSATA interface offers one of the fastest ways to access portable storage and can be powered over the USB conenciton. The Mercury Elite Pro mini comes with a free lifetime of US-based 24/7 technical support and a standard three-year warranty.

The Mercury Elite Pro mini USB 3.0 and eSATA 6G model is now available from OWC in capacities ranging from drive-free enclosures from $64.99 MSRP, hard drive configurations up to 1.5TB from $114.99 MSRP, and OWC Mercury 6G SSD-based solutions up to 480GB starting at $159.99 MSRP.
