OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 6G 4TB SSD Now Available

by Lyle Smith

OWC has released the Mercury Extreme Pro 6G 4TB SSD, the company’s newest addition to its consumer 2.5-inch SATA line. Offered in a range of other capacities, the Mercury Extreme Pro 6G is ideal for those in need of sustained write performance, such as in audio, video, and photo editing/production use cases. OWC claims that, while many drives of its class will drop to 50-60MB/s after their cache has been exhausted, the new Mercury Extreme Pro will not.
