NVIDIA and NetApp announced that they are working together to simplify and increase the speed of AI deployments. This expands other partnerships NetApp has gone into surrounding AI, including last year’s partnership with Run:AI and NetApp ONTAP AI. Today Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., announced that it has begun mass production of the Samsung PM9A3 E1.S. The company claims that this is its most advanced line of data center SSDs. It is also said to be the industry’s first data center SSD that is compliant with the latest OCP standards.

Nutanix has announced more ransomware protection for Nutanix Cloud Platform. These are said to include new threat monitoring and detection, as well as more granular data replication and robust access controls, natively built into the Nutanix stack. Today Seagate Technology plc announced its Storage-as-a-Service platform, Seagate Lyve Cloud. Lyve Cloud is an S3-compatible storage-only cloud that is said to enable always-on mass capacity data storage and activation. Lyve Cloud is being brought to more customers through collaboration with Equinix.
