With the HC3250DF, Scale Computing targets enterprise and SMB customers that require an HCI solution that can service more massive databases, mid-range VDI, and other performance-intensive use cases. Scale Computing hits the mark with this latest addition to its core HC3 virtualization system. This new hyperconverged solution means to bring simplicity and a high amount of speed, density, throughput, and power. With these capabilities, companies can enable VDI for many more users per node while keeping future growth in focus.

The company highlights that unlike more complex infrastructure solutions that try to emulate classic SAN storage infrastructure, the Scale Computing HC3250DF is more natural to deploy, manage, and scale-out. Also, its NVMe storage architecture requires no manual configuration and consumes less system RAM, resulting in more RAM being available to virtual machines and their applications.

The HC3250DF features intelligent automation for self-healing and high availability, just like all Scale Computing HC3 appliances. This feature is essential to keep clusters running through component and appliance failures. Another feature is the integrated disaster recovery capabilities to protect data and workloads to remote sites for fast failover and recovery. These capabilities enable applications to achieve maximum uptime, states the company, even when local IT resources and staff are limited. The HC3250DF is suitable for application platform for core data center and edge computing use cases where IoT, ease-of-use, high availability, and TCO matter. Industries include retail, industrial, finance, remote office/back office, and mobile platforms.
