The DLNA-certified DS416play is capable of “hot-swapping” drives while the unit is running, so you can avoid downtime while replacing drives. It also comes with a host of sharing features like user quotas that can prevent individuals from using too much bandwidth, and the host of features provided by Synology’s proprietary DSM OS, and mobile apps.
