Today at VMworld, VirtualSharp Software announced a free version of its flagship ReliableDR that provides customers with production-ready disaster recovery replication functionality, heartbeat certification and RTO measurement. ReliableDR Free Edition has an agentless, modular plug-in architecture that supports all versions of vSphere including the Essentials kits.
VirtualSharp Software was founded in 2010 to develop cloud disaster recovery software, and advocates an integrated approach that incorporates VM disaster recovery planning from the beginning of server virtualization deployments. ReliableDR Free Edition enables users to experiment with or deploy disaster recovery with tools that are also ready for deployment when the time comes.
