For customers, VMware has several solutions for remote work that keeps up connectivity and productivity. The solutions offered work regardless of the endpoint. VMware is looking for ways to deliver digital workspaces on endpoints, that are secure, while maintaining or increasing productivity. And there will be some built in elasticity to add more workers as they go home, or scale down as they return to work.

The bulk of the remote workers will benefit from VMware through the company’s digital workspace. The company promises to deliver any of their app through the endpoint of the users choosing without compromise in security. So there is no confusion, the VDI will work on all corporate and personal devices. For security, apps will be accessed with a Zero Trust access control model regardless of where they reside.

Other benefits for remote workers include:

  • Extended free trials of Workspace ONE for 90 days and 100 devices through July 31, 2020 available here.
  • Special offers are available from users’ VMware account team
  • Extended free trials of Horizon 7 on-premises, Horizon 7 on VMware Cloud on AWS, and Horizon Cloud on Azure for 90 days and 100 named users through July 31, 2020.
