WD indicates that the SN550 can deliver over four-times the speed of their SATA drives, quoting 2,400MB/s in reads. With these speeds, content creators who work in a range of different resource-heavy environments (such as 4K/8K video, large document files or storage-intensive applications) will certainly also benefit from the new WD drive.

Availability

Available in capacities from 250GB to 1TB, the WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD is available now.
